According economics times last Tuesday company launched it's new android 4.0 based FunBook which will be available at the Indian price Rs. 6499. This is new entry from Micromax for tablet PC. Company says it is being manufactured to deliver best educational contents to the students. Student have to spend Rs. 799 to access their class related material in multimedia form through this device. Micromax CEO Deepak Mehrotra reported that company will set up its manufacturing unit at Haridwar. More ever he added that company has capacity to produce one lac unit per month to fulfill the needs. This device runs on Android 4.0 Ice-cream sandwich platform, has 1.22 Ghz processor which is sound fast, has 0.3 MP VGA camera and 4 GB built-in memory which can be expanded up to 32 GB.
Just few moments earlier Human Resources Development Minister of India Kapil Sibbal said that right now Akash version two is going to pass through testing stage. It will be available in May. It is really shocking news to all the tablet lovers , specially of Akash and Ubislate 7+ (Akash -2). Some times it seems that both manufacturer and Government Of India is not much serious about it. They are asking to keep patient only. Other side few more companies have been already entered to the war of tablets. Recently Wishtel has launched it's low cost tablet series which starts from the cheap price level around 4000 Indian Rupees. If the same scenarios goes on, means every time they push user for the next month than definitely other players of tablet field will get top position and Datawind will become a joke only.
