HTC Desire 500

The HTC Desire is widely acclaimed to be the best series model in recent times, with the inclusion of HTC Desire 500, an excellently made smartphone. This series was one of the surprise success stories of the year as so much demand of the device in the market. Besides the 4.3 WVGA touch screen, the phone features a Quad-Core 1.2 GHz (Qualcomm Snapdragon 200) CPU, 8 Mega pixel rear facing camera and runs on Google’s Android 4 operating system. It supports HD video recording. It is well designed, exhuming a minimalist but classy look and rounded edge. The device has 4 GB internal memory and expandable up to 64 GB. The device comes with 1 GB RAM.

Connectivity point of view it covers the features like Bluetooth, A2DP Bluetooth, WI-Fi, GPRS, EDGE, 3G, WLAN and USB support. No more option as GPS and HDMI port. It comes with Li-Polymer, 1800 mAh battery. The company claims a battery time of 12 hours for 3G and standby time of 435 hrs (3G). Not bad at all. It has 3.5 mm audio jack but no feature of FM radio. The device is being sold at price Rs. 20482 on snapdeal.

The device is well designed, well built, well performable and just plain good. It could be better, but for now, it is undoubtedly good.
