The official BitTorrent client for Android is now available
for everyone, and while it is still in beta, it offers up a great service for
anyone who wants to download directly to their Android. The Ul is sensible, and
the app will grab any torrents your search brings up and add them to your
download list.
You can set your upload and download limit, but other than that
the settings menu looks a bit sparse. Two different tabs show the torrents you
have downloading, as well as your completed downloads.
This is a useful tool that's only going to get better as
user feedback and new ideas are worked into later versions. BitTorrent is
already a simple and elegant way to collect and control torrents, and its
layout and simple Ul make it a perfect place for beginners to start from.
