Aadhaar Card is one of the vital project for the government of India, where they want to bring transparency and easiness in the service provided by the government. The Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI), a central government agency who is responsible to issue Aadhaar Card, has set the goal, up to September 2016 each citizen of India will have Aadhar number (unique identification code). Modi government has already prepared Aadhaar card of 104 crore people of India. There are ten services those will be linked with UID. Means only Aadhar number holder can use it. Here is the list of the services where Aadhaar number is necessary.

Aadhar Id is going to be compulsory to open the account in any bank of India. As per the current scenario, you can open a bank account without Aadhar card but later when the government makes it mandatory no chance to open a bank account without it. If your bank account is linked with UID you can get transferred government scheme’s subsidy amount directly into your account.

2.Provident Fund (PF) Account
Currently, Employees' Provident Fund Organization is linking all existing PF accounts with Aadhaar number. The same thing is going to happen here what will apply to the bank. Without UID you can not open the PF account.

In the future, any kind of insurance policy, life insurance, health insurance, accidental insurance cover is not possible without UID. It will become a tough job to get an approved insurance claim without UID. Currently, UID is not necessary to get approved the claim.

It will control duplication of both passport and pan card. If one has both, he can’t make it again. So, the UID is going to be mandatory proof to create a new passport.

8. Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) and Staff Selection Commission (SSC) Exam
For now, there is no requirement of UID for UPSC & SSC exam registration but, in future, it will be asked to attach to register for above exams.
