Today the company, ACI-Asia has launched ACi ICON 1100 laptop series as “The Icon Of India”. This is the first ever low priced laptop PC in IT industry of India . According to company officials around 200000 devices will be sold in the country during the current year. Nowadays there is trend of low cost devices is running in India . In that point of view the same situation may take place as was for Akash tablet. There were lots of orders but supply was not enough. The device ACi ICON 1100 is powered by VIA CPU, 512 MB memory, expandable up to 1 GB. 3 USB ports are given along with push card reader. For connectivity purpose Ethernet Adaptor, Wireless Adaptor and optional 3G is included. As imaging device facility of web cam is there. It comes with 10.2 inch screen and good quality of display with resolution of 1028 x 768.The only thing that will disappoint to user, is its low storing capacity.
