Kimbho-Chat-App

Every time Baba Ramdev with his ‘swadeshi’ tag, bring something new through his company Patanjali. Last time the company had launched Patanjali SIM, before launching this kind of SIM there was lots of rumour and joking climate about SIM product. It was an interesting topic that how the company is jumping from Ayurvedic field to telecom and now Social Media! Yes, What I told is true.

Patanjali has recently announced the return of his chatting app Kimbho. According to the information found on Twitter, this app will be made available on August 27 at the iOS App Store and Google Play Store with updated features. In the Patanjali Ayurvedic Managing Director Acharya Balkrishna asked peoples to have their suggestions in this context. The competition for Kimbho in India is with Facebook's popular app WhatsApp. This app was presented on Google Play Store in May 2018. Later it was removed from Google Play Store to add some advanced ideas to it.

Here is a quick view on it, what you will find in this app:

  • All end to end communications sessions are encrypted, means no chance of communication leaking
  • To make the chat session more interesting there will be emoticons, stickers and freehand doodle
  • All kind of multimedia content can be shared like document, audio, video or photos.
  • Can be done group chat but maximum how many peoples can join it not found any information regarding it.
  • Both Audio and Video conferencing is possible.
  • The user can log in through multiple devices using the same number and receive notification on multiple devices.
  • All smartphone ready features also accessible through www.kimbho.com
  • Zoom your contact's video during the live video call
  • Messages and files will get automatically deleted as per user setting. This will be a very useful function for the users running with low memory on the phone.
  • Live location sharing facility also given as given in the WhatsApp.

In short Patanjali’s ‘Kimbho’ covers almost all the features which user generally finds in the WhatsApp.
