Last Date To Link Aadhaar Card With PAN Card Is Extended Till 30 June 2020

The income tax department of India has given another chance to link the Aadhaar card to the PAN card. The earlier deadline for linking PAN to Aadhaar was September 30. Now the new last date to link both documents is 30 June 2020. If you fail to do so, your PAN card will become inactive, which means you will not be able to file ITR. More ever, as per government policy, it is compulsory, no matter what is your income low or high. This time government saying if you fail to do so, will have to pay  Rs. 10000 as penalty

For linking purpose the user can either send an SMS to 567678 or 56161. It is desirable that name on both documents should appear in the same to the same otherwise it may not be linking. To link through the messaging system just type UIDPAN followed by your 12-digit Aadhaar number and after space type the 10-digit PAN number. And press send button to send it to 567678 or 56161.

e.g. UIDPAN 1235456781639 DWWP1536AN

While messaging make sure you are using the same Aadhaar registered mobile number. If you use any other mobile number then it will not work. If the linking is the successful user will be notified by SMS.

How To Link Aadhaar Card With PAN Card using Income Tax Department Website.

First of all just log in using your credentials On the income tax ITR filling portal. If you are doing the first time, register yourself than log in. As soon as the user login, he will face a pop-up window asking to link UID. Follow the same as per instruction given in the pop-up window. If it does not appears just go to Profile Setting -> Link Aadhaar.
After verifying detail and your UID and click on 'Link Aadhaar Button'. You will receive an OTP to authentication purpose enter the same and you are done.
