Day by day figure of infection is increasing in the tally. Gradually, the whole world is moving toward a lockdown situation. In some countries, government had to apply curfew forcefully to avoid people coming out of their houses. Till day no remedies, scientists are working on day and night.WHO recommends to quarantine ourselves to break the chain of infection. It is recommended to wash hands off and on throughout the day. Alcohol-based sanitizer is the best to disinfect. In the country, like India, there are limited medical facilities, the government can't reach everyone to provide sanitizer, mask or handkerchief. In some parts of the country, there is a shortage of sanitizers in the medical stores. More ever it is costly, so poor people can not afford it. Here, I am going to give a guideline to make homemade hand sanitizers. The process is as easy as ABC, anyone can make it easier. Don't even need to pay a high amount to buy.

Step By Step

What we need:

2 cup of Rubbing Alcohol, USP; It is also called Isopropyl alcohol (C3H8O). This mainly used for cleaning and disinfectant purpose. its acetone properties make it a solvent. It is not safe for human consumption.
1/4 cup of Aloe vera Gel; Easily available in the market, can be used for any brand. In the case of non-availability, Aloe vera natural plant can be used. 1/4 cup
10 to 15 drops Almond oil, or any essential oil can be added like lavender. If not available lemon juice will do.

Method

First of all, pour all three ingredients in one glass bowl. mix it well. You can use a hand-mixer grinder. The proportion should be 2:1 of alcohol and aloe vera. The drop of essential oil will be helpful to maintain its texture and its smell well too.
Pour the mixture in the empty bottle. You can get empty spray bottle from the local market or medical stores which is easily available at a cost around

Rs.15 to 20 only. If traveling, get 50ml to 60ml size bottle as it is easy to put in pocket or purse. Make sure that the bottle is germ-free. It is recommended to wash it with warm water. Neatly dry and clean then use it.

It is as powerful as the available one in the market. This sanitizer is helpful to reduce the number of microbes on your hands.
