According economics times last Tuesday company launched it's new android 4.0 based FunBook which will be available at the Indian price Rs. 6499. This is new entry from Micromax for tablet PC. Samsung Launches Low Cost Tablet In Galaxy Series

On Sunday Samsung Electronics has given report to the news desk that they have been launched low cost tablet in Galaxy series. As Samsung Electronics has already launched first version of 7.0 inch screen. Which runs on android 4.0 OS. There is their own TouchWiz interface in that tablet. It has 1 Ghz dual core processor. With 1024 x 600 screen resolution also includes Wi-Fi. User have to pay $350 exclusive tax to buy it. This will be available in market from this March onward. At Sweden Samsung Electronics also announced that soon company will launch 7.0" screen, 3G version of it. Where internet can be accessed at speed of 21 Mbps using HSPA (High-Speed Packet Access).There will be two camera in it, one is front side and another to back side. There will be of maximum 32 GB integrated storage. Bettary back up will be up to 39 hours. All this specification is there in 7 inch Galaxy Tab.

Now in second tablet of Samsung Electronics which will be available from March onward globally, has the above specification. Small  difference is there. In this second Galaxy Tablet - 2 there is 10" (10.1) inch screen. Resolution is 1024 x 800, instead of 4000 mAh bettary there is 7000 mAh. Right now this one will be available at the cost of US$470 in Sweden. In sweden ipad 2 is being sold at the price of  $531(excluding tex). In compare to this , it is low cost.

Recently the telecom leader of the Indian Telecom Market Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has launched three low cost tablets.Pental Technologies is the Noida (India) based company who manufactured it. Those tablets will be sold with BSNL data plans. Prices of those tablets are Rs. 3250, Rs.10999 and Rs. 13500 respectively. Panta Tpad IS 701r is the cheapest version of tablet from BSNL. In compare with Akash tablet, user will find better specification. It has price tag of Rs. 3250 as BSNL says. This tablet comes with 1 GHz processor (ARM11 IMAP210) , 256 MB RAM, HDMI Port, 7 inch resistive touch screen, android 2.3  Gingerbread OS with 800x600 resolution and 16.9 aspect ratio. It has 2 GB Internal Memory , is expandable up to 32 GB. Wi-fi and 3G Dongal Support. There is VGA front camera too, for video calling. Panta Tpad_ws704c is second one in the above price range for the Rs. 10999.
